Screening for hereditary diseases and appearance traits of the dog
Screening for hereditary diseases and appearance traits is available for all breeds. There will be tested 298 markers, including causal mutations of inherited diseases, linkage mutations of inherited diseases and markers of appearance traits.
An overview of the markers included in the screening panel can be found in the sample results report (below). If any test important for your breed is missing in the panel, it is possible to order this marker additionally – please write the request for the extra marker in the order note. The price of the analysis of the extra marker of the disease or the appearance is £19 (the exception is the Lafora epilepsy test, which costs £29).
The laboratory guarantees at least 283 of the reported markers.
