Locus E
£43.00
The E locus controls whether a dog can produce dark pigment. E allows black or brown eumelanin, while e/e blocks it and creates red–yellow coats using pheomelanin. The e/e genotype also masks patterns from the K and A loci. Other E variants exist in specific breeds but aren’t included in this test.
